  • What’s the difference between health coaching and telemedicine?
Telemedicine: Available for patients in Texas, Florida, Washington, and California. This involves medical care, including diagnosis, lab orders, prescriptions (if necessary), de-prescription (stopping medications), and comprehensive treatment plans. Health Coaching: Available worldwide. Coaching focuses on lifestyle guidance, education, and support but does not include medical diagnosis and prescriptions.
  • What services do you offer?
I provide telemedicine consultations for patients in Texas, Florida, Washington, and California and health coaching services worldwide. My focus is on helping individuals improve their metabolic health and reverse chronic conditions such as type 2 diabetes, obesity, hypertension, and autoimmune diseases through diet and lifestyle interventions.
  • Can you become my primary care doctor (PCP)?
No. While I wish to become the PCP from patients that seek my help, I don't have the bandwidth and setup to become a PCP. I focus instead on intensive coaching and dietary intervention to help you reverse your chronic health issues so you don't really need a doctor to stay healthy.
  • What happens during a health coaching session?
Health coaching sessions focus on education, accountability, and guidance to help you implement lifestyle changes. We’ll work together to set goals, troubleshoot challenges, and create sustainable habits.
  • How do I schedule an appointment?
You need to schedule a discovery call first. If my services are a good fit for you, you will then receive the intake form and a link to schedule the initial consultation.
  • What happens during a telemedicine appointment?
Your initial consultation will include a comprehensive health evaluation, review of your medical history, lab assessments (if needed), and a personalized treatment plan focused on diet and lifestyle changes. Follow-up appointments track progress and make necessary adjustments.
  • Do you offer in-person visits?
No, all consultations and coaching sessions are conducted online via video calls.
  • Do you accept insurance?
No, I do NOT accept insurance, including Medicare or Medicaid.
  • Do you accept HSA or FSA?
Yes! I accept Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) for eligible services. Many clients successfully use their HSA or FSA to cover the cost of telemedicine or health coaching services
  • What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept credit/debit cards, HSA/FSA payments. Payment method is added to the intake form. Payments are due at the time of service. The card on file will be charged automatically and you will receive a receipt via email. Many people still wish to maintain a long term professional relationship after their program ends and I do provide this type of relationship on a case by case basis.
  • Can I work with you if I’m outside of the U.S.?
Yes! Health coaching services are available to clients worldwide, regardless of location.
  • Who can work with you?
Medical Care: Patients must be physically located in the states of Texas, Florida, Washington, or California at the time of their telemedicine visit as I only have medical licenses in those states at this time. More may be added later. Health Coaching: Available to anyone worldwide.
  • Can you prescribe medication?
Yes, but only for patients in Texas, Florida, Washington, and California. However, my approach prioritizes diet and lifestyle interventions to reduce or eliminate the need for medications whenever possible.
  • What diets do you recommend?
I focus on low-carb, keto, and carnivore diets tailored to individual needs. The goal is to improve metabolic health, insulin sensitivity, and inflammation while addressing underlying causes of chronic disease. If you're interested in a plant-based approach, I'm NOT the right person for you.
  • Do you order lab tests?
Yes, I can order lab tests if needed in most states. I use a service called Ulta Lab Tests to order your labs at a deeply discounted price. I can also provide guidance on which tests to request from your primary physician.
